The original owners on this sight, 402 Queen Street West were Ralph and Ruth Nixon who owned and operated the garage and gas station until 1984. In 1976 the original garage burnt to the ground and the current building was constructed.
Ralph and Ruth sold the garage to one of their employees; Mike Harris and his wife Judy. On May 1st, 1984 Mike and Judy took over ownership of Nixon Garage before changing the name in 1985 to Harris Garage.
Mike and Judy continued to operate the garage until April 30th, 2014 before selling to employee Bryan Greig & wife Judy and son, Ryan Harris & wife Candice. In late 2015 to continue the transition and growth of the company the name of the business changed to Harris-Greig Automotive.
